How would you react to your child bringing home bad grades?

Nah boo, you doing the right thing though. damn you back handing kids or pushing them down the stairs when you aint tutoring or what?
That feeling is amazing though, i know you said you hate kids but it sounds like you are a good teacher, so why couldnt you do it?

I get an overwhelming urge to do so sometimes not even gonna lie
I tutor an hour and a half a kid. That's different than spending 7 hours with loud, snot nosed, disrespectful, pissing on themselves ass kids. it's just different. I have little patience when it comes to dealing with kids outside of academics and teachers, along with parents, have a responsibility to mold kids into smart, functional, adults. I can't do it.

Middle schoolers are hormonal and high schoolers are just a$$holes. If my other options don't pan out I'd go for college professor. Everyone is responsible for themselves. Come to class or not. Go to sleep or not. I don't give a fukk. If you fail or fukk up it wouldn't be on me.
No parent teacher conferences with clueless parents trying to absolve themselves and their lazy child of the responsibility of school work.

Why cant he be a kid and bring home good grades? Why does being a kid encompass accepting shytty grades? What he gonna bring home all C's and im supposed to say, well hes just a kid. Stop it bruh. Aint no hes just a kid. Do you reailze where we're at right now? At the bottom. Aint no hes just a kid. There is a time for play and theres a time for work. If he can manage his work then he can play but if he cant manage his work then he wont play until his work is managed. Getting good grades is not as hard as it seems. It starts off with good habits and work ethic. Do your homework every night and understand the material. Kid school is not that complex bruh. He always has his parents available to help him with his studies or get him someone who can assist him better in a subject we may be weak on, but between my wife and i, i cant imagine what that subject would be. Shes the math wiz and i got everything else. Thats why we're having trouble now, we dont like to play harder then we work.

Ok you've got your perception of what hard work is that no amount of explaining seems to embed able to xhange. I've explained my position that a kid can work and play but if they aren't performing thEn being rewarded will be innfrequent.

Fair? They got work to do just like me. I don't feel pity. I just give them love and help them through it

Doesn't happen to most achievers. Most are very family oriented . Something else probably happened between him a his parents you arent aware of

After that I have her write a summary of the chapter. She rarely gets bad grades anymore. I just have to help her a lot with math and science. For some reason she just doesn't soak in the info in those subjects.

Drop out of middle school if need be. Thats when i started getting fukked up grades.
school isn't for everyone. They spoon feed you the information. Didn't work for me so it probably won't work for my kid. I'd rather let him drop out and get real life experience doing something he wants to do. He can get his GED and go to college later in life if he decides he wants to advance his studies.
