there were a grip of guys that were considered just as good or better than kobe. they just weren't on great teams.
and I admit, I'm guilty of doing what youre doing with derek fisher. I had him too high on here.

I'm old enough to have seen both their careers play out from beginning to end. Having seen each player from start to finish, nobody in their right mind would take Iverson over Kobe if they re-did the draft.
I realize Iverson is like a father figure to some of you on here, but that does not mean he was a better player than Kobe.

1.) kobe on the late '90s sixers would be a disaster.
2.) people either forget or don't know that Iverson was drafted as a point guard. what sense would it make to draft kobe when the sixers had just drafted Stackhouse a year prior?
3.) the city wanted Iverson.
