Vince Carter and kobe play the same position so that wouldn't work.

Vince/t-mac had great chemistry together while they were on the Raptors.

regardless of who you think is better, this is a draft. not a rankings list. some of the dudes in here are so caught up with idol worship that they cant even understand the premise of the thread.

1.) kobe on the late '90s sixers would be a disaster.
2.) people either forget or don't know that Iverson was drafted as a point guard. what sense would it make to draft kobe when the sixers had just drafted Stackhouse a year prior?
3.) the city wanted Iverson.

1.) Those Sixers teams won 22 and 31 games Iverson's first two years.
2.) It doesn't matter what Iverson was drafted as; we're talking about a draft in retrospect. I guess by that logic Portland would still take Sam Bowie over Jordan in '84.
3.) The city also didn't want McNabb. Fans are idiots.

You made a thread about a hypothetical do-over on a draft. We take into account each career if that's the case and Kobe clearly had a better career than Iverson. His peak was better than Iverson's and his prime was longer.

2A.) lol @ comparing this to bowie/Jordan. but for the record, if i was to re-do the '84 draft, i wouldn't have the blazers draft Jordan or bowie. blazers already had Drexler. and assuming that hakeem, is off the board, theres still a plethora of legends to pair with glide. sure, Jordan ran point on the bulls for a lil bit, but he didn't come out as a point guard, so that would be a lazy pick. lol.

3. most of those people that booed mcnabb, were not from the city. but i'll give you a pass for not knowing the geographics. i'll let you slide on this one.

4. kobe had a better career, mainly because of the situation he was in. put him on Toronto, philly, or charlotte and hes not in your avatar. and i'll take prime Iverson over prime kobe.
