True but there's thousands of PWI's and a handful of them having dorm issues doesn't move the needle or generate news. The fact that this is happening to THEE flagship HBCU with the most prideful chest poked out alumni is what's driving this story and is not a good look
My alma mater (UMES) got a mold issue in some buildings but thankfully not much of a serious pest issue outside of ants and the occasional roach It’s never had to deal with a housing shortage tho, at least not one of this magnitude and our financial aid stay dragging their feet. Plus a new dorm and class building has been recently built for the pharma kids and med students.
