What you talking about? :wtb:

As someone who went to both back in the early 2000s, GT was light years ahead of what was happening at the HBCUs down the road.

To be fair, that's the HBCU's in Atlanta. I don't want to be disrespectful, but they're old as hell and are in desperate need of a update. NC A&T generally don't have issues as big as Howard is having. The worst you'll generally have is not having enough housing if you applied to late. But Greensboro is full of affordable apartments by the campus and UNCG.

ATL - Cleveland Ave.
Because it’s an unbelievably bad idea for an institution to put substantial capital into cryptocurrency - it’s volatile and at the whims of its major investors.
It doesn't require 'substantial' capital. A relatively small five figure infusion just five years ago could be hundreds of millions today with proper management. I would assume a school that employs Finance and Economics professors could collectively do what a body cheese smelling white boy in his one bedroom apartment can.

The Bushes
A lady who was running shyt at the bursar was recently fired and arrested for stealing money.

The breh who ran the veterans funds at Howard was fired for mismanaging paperwork for us black vets causing us not to get paid.

^ this is just since the Spring

Whoever said Howard has a scandal every year was correct. Too much corruption and when you say shyt it’s “w-w-why you talking down on black people when whites do you worse”

My bad for expecting my own to fukking care. A lot of us choose Howard because we didn’t want to deal with the micro aggressions and 5 out of 80 type classrooms at PWIs.

Howard had a year and a half with no students where they could’ve easily renovated those dorms. Howard gets plenty of donations, I’m not trying to hear that

I’m happy to live off camp so I don’t have to deal with that bullshyt

Most HBCUs aren’t adequately funded at the federal & state level. As well as the alums not giving back

Not just alumni but regular folks who never attended those schools giving money to them.

Trust one reason PWIs have big war chests is because folks who never attended those schools buy merchandise and donate to those universities. I will never forget when I was in undergrad a old lady who never attended the university died and left the school half a 100k in her will from her life insurance. She just liked the school, lived in the area and wanted to give back.

That's why I also encourage black folks (even if they didn't attend an HBCU) to adopt one and donate to them every year even if it is just a couple bucks or whatever you can afford a year.

I adopted JSU and Langston and been sending them money every year for over a decade.
