Drew, Carver, the Quad, Mdot, and The Towers was terrible af
Moldy ass shower closets, and mildew all over the walls and ceilings
So many rats in the dorms and cats on campus nikkas started naming them joints
No heat during the winter and sometimes no hot water
Bruh it was legit 8 degrees one night and nikkas had 4 blankets freezing the fukk off smh. Guess what the RA's said, "no yall can't have heaters it's a safety hazard" Us:
One Saturday we were pregaming before hitting a party and walking past the elevator to go to this chick's room to drink and nikkas saw this huge ass moldy mushroom right in front of the elevator.......

Prisons have the same living conditions. This is nothing to be proud of. However every year their alumni be deeper at homecoming than a NFL football stadium.

Exactly. George Washington....just a few miles away....mold is fukking their dorms and buildings up too, but no mention of it on the news. AND their tuition, room and board is like 75k. A lot of these schools are fukked up, not just HBCUs. UMD had some wild shyt happening as well.I hate how some folks act like HBCUs are the only schools that have issues. My girl went to Georgia Tech & she experienced stuff way worse than anything I’ve heard from someone who complains about HBCUs.

Yep.most HBCUs are very affordable. Howard, Spelman, Morehouse, CAU, Tuskegee, Cookman and a few others are expensive as hell because their private schools.
When I went to Alabama State their tuition was $8K a year for instead, and $16K for us out of state folks, but I had a full scholarship
All HBCUs aren’t like what’s going on at Howard. I’ve never been to their campus so I can’t speak for them, but I don’t have anything to complain about while I was at Bama State besides long lines buts that’s every school, black or white.

As someone who went to both back in the early 2000s, GT was light years ahead of what was happening at the HBCUs down the road.

At the end of the day I want the top HBCU's to be the beacons and standard to excellence. I think with Howard getting this bad pub some of it has to do with their stellar rep and boastful alumni -even here in LA they have a large presence- Their alumni is quick to throw that Howard Bison shyt up in ya face 24/7/365. They let it be known known known where they went to school at and how they're the cream of the crop. I'm proud and happy for them but those T's need to be crossed and I's dotted. Too much underlying fukkery for what they should be. And you should pull a few milly out from the $714 million endowment so shyt like this doesn't happen leak out to the public.Damn, not the Mecca
