do you imagine VR replacing screens any time soon?
how do you feel about gaming on a screen after using VR?
I don't see it replacing screens (at least not in the next 5 years). The resolution is just too low and you can't game for hours, moving your next around, using your arms, wearing a headset that gets heavy after a while, etc., like you can on a traditional screen.
But I will say this, I have no desire to play TV screen or PC monitor games right now. I've been all VR for a week now. I'm blown away right now with the tech. I'm even playing games that would suck in 2D, but are surprisingly fun in VR, just cuz they're in VR.
VR is game changing, but we're still in the early stages. I say in 2 or 3 generations it will be the norm.
If you got $600-800 laying around, buy the Rift or Vive ASAP. shyt is mindblowing. I know I was kinda disappointed in the beginning with my Vive, but now I'm very impressed. I get it now. It takes a week or two to adjust to VR (cuz it's so different), but once you do, it's game over; you're hooked.
shyt is just
