Feel bad for Hubert. Was 1 half away from a championship. Won acc reg season and was a 1 seed 2 years ago. 18-0 at home this season. Now all of a sudden he's done nothing. Carolina going to find out the hard way that even they have to taper their expectations.

Kevin was fired because of NCAA violations, not losing games or tanking the program. Hubert didnt tank the program.

Ollie's violations were speeding tickets in the grand scheme of things. He was fired because he couldn't coach, develop players or recruit. His firing for cause was to get out of paying his contract.

Davis finished 4th in the ACC twice in a row and losing to mid majors in the round of 64... you don't wait until your teeth are rotting out of your mouth to go to the dentist.

This is why it's always tough coaching at your alma mater. Hubert loves UNC so much I know this was hard, I'm sure he'll get a job asap though to lessen the buyout.

Yeah im going to disagree on this one. Hubert did well, but Carolina as a brand started going down the last 4 years of Roy Williams tenure. This didnt just happened under Hubert. Unc is going to learn the hard way. I dont see someone coming in and turning them around in 1 to 2 years like Roy Williams did.

Compare that with Duke, who was dominating recruiting and going to the elite 8 twice and final four. They were flawed teams but still. Villanova, Duke and KU ruled the late 2010s.
