The problem with Killer Mike, Kanye, Ice Cube and all "both sides" folks is that the they want to be contrarian so bad that they easily get played like suckers. Democrats have to push the right policies, say all the right the right things and provide tangible results and they'll say "ok good so what that's your job". But a republican just has to be nice to you one time and invite you to events and they'll say "see I told you they weren't so bad". Checkmate lol..
Exactly this.

This article is fukking nuts:mjtf:

He doesn’t seem to understand that Abrams is of the Black community. She doesn’t need to visit the community she’s a part of.
Killer Mike was forced to address his comments on social media after many called him an “opp” (a term used in the Black community to describe one’s opponent) to the democratic process.
So it was utterly bizarre AF for Killer Mike to meet with the enemy of the Black vote. This was Papa Smurf meeting up with Gargamel. This was an Avenger having a sit-down with Thanos. This was anyone trying to make Jeffery Dahmer their internet boyfriend after watching that Netflix show.

Ppl need to stop with the hyperbole when it comes to things like this. I don't live in Georgia but I can say in any campaign whoever has been in office should probably be under more scrutiny. Kemp has had a term as governor so the focus should be on what he has done in benefit of the Black community in GA to this point.

Van Lathan was just talking about Killer Mike on his podcast and the convo was about how Mike seemed to be softshoeing around Brian Kemp and it's because he wants to keep that line open to get things done for the community should Kemp stay in office. Kemp ain't shyt, but it's very tricky walking that tight rope for activists
Name one p*ssy footing person in this country that has gotten any meaningful change done for the black community?

You’re either all in, or all in on the other side.

Kemp is a politically savvy cutthroat politician. You don’t become Governor of Georgia and a potential candidate for the Presidency of the United States being anything other than that. You don’t get to a place like that by being oblivious and naive to p*ssy footing.

If ya’ll think Killer Mike is really pulling a fast one on Kemp then LMAO. He ain’t getting shyt without giving something back.

That’s quid pro quo. No different than Kanye, Kim and Trump.

Anytime someone's politics seem to switch you know they've been bought and paid for. Mike has clearly been compromised.

I can agree with the bolded, I'm just talking about what his thinking probably is and what Van discussed in reference to this issue. For me personally anyone who is invested in further disenfranchising Black voters is a no go, but some of these others are willing to play with the devil to see if they can get "results".

And like I said, the scrutiny should be tougher on Kemp anyway because he has had a term to show what he can do. The campaigning shyt should be #2 or #3 on the list.

Having lived in Georgia pretty much all my life and specifically in areas in and surrounding Atlanta. I’ve seen Killer Mike do a LOT of work PERSONALLY in the community for me to just up and call him a c00n. Mike puts work in.

One article and the turn is on. Nikkas are brainwashed so easily

i Just finished watching him & the jabs he was taking made it seem like Abrams was a “celebrity“ and not doing anything

I don’t think they were jabs. I think he was removing blame from from Georgias black voters. One of the first things he said was Georgia was only 35% black. He then talked about how the party wasn’t doing a good job to reach out to the other 65% who might vote.

Peep what he says when he wraps it up.. it won’t be our fault if she loses.
