Hogan has never been ethered as badly as he was here. And it did make sense in that it built up Brock, who was still very new, as a huge threat against Rock for a big Summerslam main event against Rock, who was leaving.

It was to make up for Austin not losing Lesnar to help build Rock/Brock. Since Austin wouldn't do it, Hogan was forced to do it. Haven't watched it since like 2008 and I remember the finish like yesterday. Bear hug. Lol.

He's not a beast...Rock wasn't political and was gonna run either show upon all returns..as he kept doing. Taker did the Bullshyt finish at Unforgiven first and Hogan had no choice.

Of course that's why the heat was through the roof for Lesnar when he quit at WM XX because the smarks knew how many real stars really put him over.

Austin was on Byte This bashing creative because he had just done the May PPV stuff and it was him losing to Taker and him doing a Flair/Big Show handicap match angle. Lol.
