Every year Nas would headline, and they would have a long list of artists that would slowly drop out as the tour went on due to not getting paid right. While Nas fronted like he was just an artist too, he really was a 50/50 partner with the promoter Chan. So Nas was secretly getting paid twice, as a performer and promoter...while others weren't even getting paid once.

Nah breh thats when they couldn't hide it anymore. Nas been a silent partner since 2009 that i know of, he probably had been since day one. He tried to pull the same stunt on Damian Marley and he left the tour for a couple dates til nas came up off that bread.

Ehhhh Nas at one point used to be infamous for this, basically it wasnt necessarily he was doing extreme snake shyt, but he was doing INDUSTRY type stuff to dudes who expected him to have a FRIEND type relationship with them.
Mega, AZ, 50, Prodigy, Nore, DJ KaySlay etc, etc... So usually they made at Nas but at the end of the day they usually are like ehhhhh after i was in the industry for a while i just expect everyone to be like that

As far as street dudes that hang around nas go, a lot of them have similar stories. Usually the story is, i got out of jail, nas gave me some spot on security team, or whatever and a bit of bread... we were close as cousins for a year or so, he had me handle anything that came up, then one day he changed his number and dont return messages i send him through mutual friends.

Nas said it himself, something like 'you wont know i got beef with you until you already fukked up'

I aint passing judgement or justifying it either way but a TON of folks have gone on record say something similar about him
