would a 4k projector be cheaper?

Depends on what you get, my tv in the pic was $2K at the time (Aug, 2016), the 4K projectors now start at around that price, you would need a mounting system if you hang it from the ceiling and obviously a screen . I thought about it at one point considering they can go up and beyond 100 inches. My last 3 tv's have been Samsungs, I stuck with them because of quality and never having any issues.

That's all good and everything however if I tell Samsung I want their 78" 4K QLED set for $10K the only thing their going to suggest is Visa/MC/AMEX and delivery destination. I have a 65" 4K unit from them it's 10ft from my couch, looks perfect.

Come to think of it, it could be bigger, maybe up to a 75...

I’d estimate about 7-8 ft.?

But I’m moving to a new spot this week, so all that is subject to change :yeshrug:I think I’ll be a little bit further away in the new one.

The problem with being too close to a big TV is you can't see ti all at once and the pixelation starts showing up. Some people like the looking back and forth thing because it feels more surrounded.

As a nikka with a boss 4k 60inch LG (not oled, too poor), yea its basically just a dikk waving contest.

but that's just 40 inches and above. 32 is whack for a bedroom unless it's a lil kids room or the kitchen or something.

But you couldn't let a nikka borrow a dollar...
