french wasnt known as anything more than that DVD guy in NY until he linked with max

.. this was the type of shyt french was making before max
and turned into
my point of saying his buzz led to the other moves is that... without linking with max during the jim jones beef... frenchs position would of always been that DVD guy.. most nikkas i know fukked with frenchs music off the strength of max... IN NY/NJ/CT/Mass etc... i know french politicked into other markets and bigger moves after max got locked up but without that max cosign and the music they were making which led to a big movement across the tri state... we wouldnt been speaking of french montana in 2016 or anytime before that..
Did you check any of my sources? That DVD hustle is how he linked up with Gaby Acevedo.
Gaby Acevedo was president of SRC Records. Akon was signed to SRC.
Gaby introduced French Montana to Akon. This was all before French linked with Max.
So what you're really saying is after he linked with Max, he got with Dame Grease. That part I will concede. Too bad none of those songs were hits. But then you're really just arguing for
Dame Grease and not Max B.
That "Ya Heard" is from the same French Revolution tape as:
and
2009's "Penthouse Music" is no different than what he did on 2007's "It Was All Good" and "You Feel Me". In fact, those are better than "Penthouse Music" i'd say.
The style on 2009's "Wake Up In The Morning" is not significantly different than what he did on 2008's "My Heat" ft. Mazaradi Fox:
or 2007's "What I Need":
or 2007's "I Ain't No Lover Boy"
His style progressed but it didn't switch up that much. Just got smoother and he lost a bit of that accent. The style change happened in 2010, when he started doing Trap.
