Nikka I ain't from NY and Max B had the WHOLE Eastern Seaboard on smash on some '03 50 Cent buzz nikka....If wasn't for Jimmy's fukked up contract... Max would've blew... THAT'S WHY French BLEW you DOFUS
French was already signed when he was with Max B.
Here's French and Akon in 2008.
Here's French in 2009 saying he wanted to get Max signed with Akon who had no idea who Max was:
Even if we assume French is lying out of his ass, you gotta concede he was signed before Max was. French was already getting pick up by major players even before that whole Coke Wave shyt went down. All industry connects by a DVD nikka.
Read Gaby Acevedo's interview, how they met, and how he introduced him to Akon: How to Make It in America: French Montana's Manager Gaby Acevedo on How to Manage a Musician
In 3 years Max B helped Jim Jones have a visibility in NY he didn't have before. Nikka went from Cam's Hypeman to a star in NY. That's Max B & Stacks ghostwriting and birthing styles for Yimmy. Max did the same for French... What is French without Max? French knows this. fukk CONNECTIONS, its about TALENT my dude. Real shyt
So what are you arguing? Max gave French talent, or French got signed because he has talent?
I always get this weird feeling that people will literally say anything to downplay French. They will put the credit on anyone besides him. Diddy, Ross, Max, not French tho. People still arguing how French switched up, he used to by lyrical n shyt. Even tho he says right there on 2009's Mac Wit Da Cheese, he ain't lyrical he does it for the hustle. He literally says that back then.
If its about talent then French wouldn't be in his position. He's be broke, and some soundcloud rapper would be in his place. But imo, connections and networking is talent. Probably one of the most sought-after kind in the world.
