215 Uptown!
Wouldn't that be the point, though, breh? To max out the current resolutions at 60 fps Ultra quality? Cause if you build it at 700 or even 1000, how long would it even keep up with the latest titles?

The thing is even at medium it still looks better then console.

My rig plays every game at max settings and i JUST upgraded my video card this year after 3 years of having it.

2 racks :dahellwhat:

2 racks is the master race starter kit :dahellwhat:

2 racks is the non refundable admission fee to the master race rather you get in or not :dahellwhat::mjpls:

Oh and from a diminishing returns standpoint you are taking a bigger loss on a console...since you are typically buying older hardware without the ability to swap anything outside of the hard drive...

Consoles are even on a fake 4k hustle now and charging 100's of dollars for it...

Not Japan
I started sub $1000 and upgraded along the way over like 8 years . I feel like all that power this generation isn't worth it with devs making games console-first and pc performance an afterthought

Current gen consoles are struggling to achieve 1080p/60fps. You don't have to spend anywhere near 2k for a system to pull that on triple a titles plus you can emulate Atari 2600 through Wii.

You are missing out big time by dismissing PC gaming. Going from 900p/30 fps to 1080p at a solid 60 fps is :wow:. I think my system can do over 100 fps on extreme settings for some of the games I play but I don't want to start chasing that 144 frame rate because that's when you start to get into $2k territory.

Consoles came out in 2013.. Show me a pc from 2013 without upgrades that are running 2017 games at max settings that cost 2k in 2013...i rather save money and play on ps4.. if you never told me one game was 60fps and one game was 30... I wouldn't be able to tell..

that's because you never played a game at 60fps + btw a gaming pc built in 2013 should be able to run current games at max settings. Especially if you used the $60 per year to buy a GPU instead of psn and xbl cards

If there was a way to build a pc for $800 or less that'll hold for 5 years I'd jump in pc gaming. I'm not trying to spend $200-400 every 2 years, plus having to actually build it just to have mods; emulators, and great graphics. :manny:
