I would like to know what all Lupe has done to help defeat this black complancy. Why hasn’t he made a rap album in a catchy way about it. If he was really concerned with Black complancy he would make songs about it. I like Lupe the artist but he like most artist music doesn’t match up with his ideologies.

:heh:

Breh, the solution to black complacency is to make catchy rap tunes about it....that'll get people going:yes:

If only black rappers made music about getting off your ass and doing something about your situation:lupe:

You guys got it all wrong.
He said he does not believe in white supremacy.
He didnt say he dorsnt believe it exists... Well not as such..

"White Supremacy is a lie white regularists tell to themselves in hopes that they can get a one way ticket to the top and hope we other colors overhear it," Fiasco wrote. "Here's the bad news, ain't no top. Here's the good news though, ain't no bottom neither!"

Fiasco argued that no one race has contributed more to the world than any other. When you strip away the privilege that whiteness bestows, what you are left with is what Fiasco calls "white regularity."

"There is nothing about [white people] biologically or physically that denotes an innate mode of supremacy," he writes. "And to be diplomatic there is nothing about you that denotes innate inferiority as well...You are regular. White Regularity is congruent to all other forms of regularity i.e. Black, Brown, Etc etc. But in regularity there is room for differences and this is where White Regularity shines!"

You knew that wasn’t what I was saying but you still choose to come in with your own narrative. I just would rather hear him rap about these things and put some of his personality back into his music in that way.

I get what he's saying and where he's coming from, but he messed up with "I don't believe in white supremacy" because idiots love a headline and that's an easy one.

No one believes in the "concept of white supremacy" but white supremacist. Using the term "white supremacy" doesn't mean you believe in it as an institution, but is used as a blanket term to denote the white establishment that uses its power to keep minorities down.

Click bait title. I get what he's trying to say but typing it out on twitter will have a thread like this being made with a "Gotcha" effect and have people insinuating that was his whole point. He's right by the way. Tariq has used the term "white supremacy" so much nikkas willing to die over it and call others sell out if you disagree with anything about it.
