There are. Immigrants operate in bubbles here. There are black immigrants (african and central american) who been living in my mother's now 85% ados bldg for decades. If you asked them if they knew any ados, they'd likely say no and technically they'd be right bc they dont fukking speak.

Someone like me that comes to America for 2/3 months at a time, I spend Pounds Sterling and inject my little change into the US economy go home rinse and repeat.
A lot of immigrants however take US Dollas out of the country and inject it into thier home countries economy.
Then you have Asylum Seekers which is what we see with Haitians right now.
To me that is an overlooked issue, however I acknowlwdge I am writing this from a position of privilege.
