Regardless of your philosophy, the server at every restaurant gets paid less than everybody else they work with and that doesn’t change despite anybody protest. That’s literally why you are tip. I agree that the manager should not get off Scott free.. I agree it’s a whole system where the restaurants are fukking over they staff. but the point is.. this is how it goes at every restaurant in the US basically.. and regardless of your protest, the manager will not reimburse the server. When the server tells the manager they didn’t get a tip, the manager just keeps walking. They just have to earn it working another table. And hopefully that person doesn’t boycott the tip like you did. The servers get paid the least out of all the other staff because they make tips. So no tips.. no money basically. Very little. The manager does not give them money just because you gave them no tip. If you care about the American worker who is getting fukked by the system, you shouldn’t want to take advantage of them.. because you not finessing the restaurant. They getting they money. I would tip regardless of what they get paid. I’m going out to eat because I’m most likely tired and don’t want to cook, special occasion with the family (at least 5 people) or I’m on a date with my Woman. With that being said I can only imagine how tedious it is to make sure a table of 5 is happy, drinks continuously filled, remembering who had what drink etc.

Then on top of that I’m probably being a lazy ass and don’t want to cook and my woman doesn’t want to cook. This shyt ain’t fast food and I expect great service and we all know…you get what you pay for. Even with the worst service I still give a $5 tip because I don’t know what the fukk is going on, they may be short staffed, the cook might be on one so the food is coming out slow, the waiter or waitress may have had a stressful day after fukking with 2 groups of 10 back to back or even at the same time in their section or they might just be having a fukked up day Who really knows. shyt I have even been known to ask for a change of whoever is serving me if I walk in and they seem to just have a fukked up attitude. shyt is simple to me, if someone is serving you, bringing you food and etc then why the fukk wouldn’t you tip them?

I’m out of town doing some stuff for work and I went into this spot to get some food, the young girl was running the register and when she kept asking questions to her inept coworkers she was getting little to no response so she said fukk it and went and did the shyt herself. Prepared my food, bagged it, handed it to me and when she asked another girl to help her the girl forgot something. I kindly called her over and told her that i was missing something, she grabbed it and apologized while the second girl ignored and walked away. At that point I told her she was working her ass off and handed her a $5 bill. Normally if I’m not sitting down then you don’t get a tip but she busted her ass to make sure I got my shyt in a timely manner

And if that’s not the case, I’m subtracting for every infraction (not introducing yourself, not refilling water when half full, not giving a recommendation, not knowing the menu when i ask for suggestions, not having a bubbly personality/attitude) I feel isn’t up to my standard.
