I don't understand who is advising The Rock in Hollywood

I don't consider Rock an A-list actor but he may get there this year: 5 movies, 1 TV show, WWE champ... He's having his best year ever.

There is nothing wrong with this...guy had a LONG string of films that came into #1 or 2 opening week for years.

Like if you put Rock with Kate Beckinsale..who gets top billing? Rock kind of has no problem doing whatever the role that best suits him...like in the Other Guys with Sam Jackson. Just how he is.

Where he actually still has a draw, to be interesting in his primary function.

Plus, he was great in the inspirational movies as well.
Not to mention, he does not have a deplorably awful film either.
Except the sequel for get shorty.
Now, he is doing a run of action that suits his highest draws from his past movies.

Yup, I agree 100%. this is what I was saying. I just thought he would be at the next level of Hollywood/Movies by now.

Every actor is not meant to be Oscar worthy some are here to fit certain roles. I would like to see Rock in better roles too, but his career shyts on Jason Staham. Rock has starred in several huge blockbusters over the years. Has Staham even had a role in one.

I'd say that too. A List is basically any actor that can draw in a big blockbuster movie.

He's not . ( well not before fast five and journey 2 ) lets see how snitch does . Most of his movies don't make big money your getting fooled by fast fives performance . He contributed but doesn't get any more credit than vin diesel and Paul walker . That's why they get top billing, see that producer credit for vin diesel ... If you can get a movie made just by attaching your name that's what makes your a-list really as of now rock can't do that

Jason statham gets credit in Hollywood for opening 2 franchises on his NAme . (Transporter and crank ) the rock has some nice films Jason statham does too . Most of Rock's movie do like double what Statham movies do and Statham has never done Journey 2 numbers in a lead role.

And Rock is 1a & 1b in the Fast franchise now with Vin Diesel. Nobodies checking for Paul Walker, he's lucky they didn't bring Michelle Rodriguez back, he'd be 3 then

i think gi joe might help but a single, dope movie that he can carry mainly by himself and hes definately a list

They rewrote the script for GI Joe 2 to build the movie around Channing Tatum after all the success he had in 2012, they went back and reshot a lot of scenes which is why the movie got pushed back a couple times..
