I don't understand who is advising The Rock in Hollywood

Nah a few of them have actually been pretty good and most of those are starring the Rock.

"They Live" starring Roddy Piper is considered a cult classic.

The Rundown, Walking Tall, & Gridiron Gang were all decent films.

I'd argue The Rundown was deserving of a sequel.

The rock does have a good movie career . Those movies were years ago and the same way vin diesel gets shytted on for the pacifier so does the rock . They are supposed to be action stars family comedies don't bolster that portfolio At all . Family comedies and Romcoms are looked at with no respect in Hollywood look at how well rocks starring action movies have done . Look at faster his last leading role in a serious action flick didnt do no 100 mil .

First of all you got shyt twisted by saying Comedies and Romcoms get no respect in Hollywood. From a profit standpoint those are the cheapest films to produce and the easiest to market. From a critical acclaim standpoint just look at how many Oscar winners got started or spent the bulk of their careers making those types of movies.

As for Faster, the studio kind of fukked that movie over. They released that shyt during Thanksgiving weekend, that's typically a time when family movies are released. Film's like Faster usually get released around this time of year.

And for the record the last movie Rock starred in was Journey 2 and that one actually grossed $100 million more than the previous film.

I said action movie . And yes Romcoms make money so do family comedies that doesn't mean they get respect or make you a a-lister . Only if you have a string of them but if they fall off your Katherine hiegl or Gerard butler . by the way I said rocks last serious action movie ,Not family movie .
