This has been a poor year for mainstream albums but
Daytona was dope.
As much as it's cool to hate Drake Scorpion was better than his last 2 projects.
Nipsey Hussle put out maybe his best album
I enjoyed that Jay-Z and Beyonce project more than many.
But yea it's really been more about the less famous rappers and veterans. Royces Book of Ryan caught me off guard with how he changed tones and made what is arguably his best album.

It's funny. U got nikkas sayin this year was trash based on the lackluster mainstream releases but this is the most I enjoyed a hip hop year in a minute based on the underground and street releases. It's only bout 3 mainstream releases that get legit respect from me this year. Lol
