Some games are good enough to keep “forever”
I have an active GamePass sub and still bought a copy of Expedition 33.
The car analogy ain’t the same because there is no wear and tear on a video game like a car.
If old games and preservation didn’t matter then the Xbox wouldn’t be backwards compatible.
Y’all pretend it’s corny to want to hold onto a game indefinitely while celebrating the ability to play ancient games. Make it make sense brehs.
:gucci:

you come in here talking about "licking the icing off the cupcakes", and then flip it around like you were attacked for owning games

Nothing last forever and nobody aka your kids will give a shyt about the games you covet once you die :francis:

Which is stupid. You want to fit in with a make believe eliest crowd so you bought it to show your support n shyt.
Its gaming, its entertainment. You are bragging about buying the movie BAPS. I could watch it for free, you have the DVD.
You also pay for the services that will have BAPS so do you think thats better because.... oh right, the apocalypse :tu:

There's no wear and tear on physical games? :usure: You talking about the digital file of the game which is all you have anyway.
And people will always "rip" copies of sed games. In fact, according to Sony you don't even OWN your system or games

Nobody anywhere said that no older games mattered or that preserving a game isn't important. Its just that you keep acting like that's what you're doing. You ain't preserving shyt, you just horde shyt for a collection :stop: Games are preserved because people emulate. Don't play dumb. Of course having the ability to play older stuff on your newer consoles is cool but lets not act like its a feature that is heavily used. We all would rather access games digitally instead of handling physical disc every time we want to play a new game, YOU INCLUDED

WE don't want to play like we did in the stone ages. Old games (and new ones) don't have loading times anymore because of the more powerful hardware. Frame rate boost, HDR added/etc. While you think we'd rather play it on a CRT if you can find one without any enhancements, long ass loading times. Like, stop it bruh, you not doing all that in 2025 but you just like having the option to one day if... you know, the apocalypse happens n shyt :comeon:

And @Fatboi1, man. You posted all those charts n shyt but left out all the heavy hitter. Left out a tone of games. Never mentioned Doom either.
I'm just wondering how miserable you have to be to flat out omit games to make it look like the list are comparable (And it still was lopsided in Xbox favor without the major games he left out)
He listed literally less than half the games that came into the service this year :mindblown:
Does he realize going to such lengths exposes himself? Red handed guilty of being FURIOUS!!! :wow:

And he’s the one that made the car analogy in the first place.

Sony stans crazy :mjlol:
:skip: Oh they mad mad

:manny: 2 Xbox series X in the house with GamePass ain’t enough. You gotta glaze everything Xbox and dismiss everything PlayStation to be in the club. I rent the same games they rent and still buy the games I care about most but that’s crazy talk round these parts. :mjlol:
They glaze Microsoft so much that the war cry now is “who the hell actually buys games?!?”

And yall felt the need to run in and attack his fun.

:skip: You hiding rocks for people after they throw them now.
Same way I joke the rentals the same way the usual Xbot suspects have joked buying games. We post in the same forum. Stop it.
No one’s joked about you buying games.

I have joked about you holding on to physical games in the face of pretty much everyone else abandoning them.

How you conflate that to a game subscription service is some wild strawman shyt. :smh:

The fact you think claiming that makes you above being a Stan is nice but most people have all systems.
I'd have a PS5 but I wasn't pressed to play Concord :smugdraper:

What CRAAZY is you say that like if you're special for doing that. Like if everyone else doesn't do the same thing :wtf:
To achieve virtual brownie points you claim you buy games you like in the service Day 1 while most of us would rather buy it IF it leaves the service
This is where you guys would illogically say "Well what if you don't want the service anymore?"
If that were the case (which is impossible but for shyts n giggles if...) then you could buy those games you bought Day 1, at a fraction of the cost.
I could scoop 5 of those day 1 games you got for the price of 1. And with the service feeding us so well and backlogs.. it makes sense to buy later

This is literally common sense imo but moving on...

Physical Game Sales Are Down in the US.
Physical sales been on the decline since 2008, and in 2023 digital sales of games on CONSOLES was at 89.5%, don't know the numbers now but its only been increasing each year so uh.. yeah :patrice:

And this is where you PROVE YOUR FANBOYISM :laff:
Look Mr.Revy, the Joke is that you and your crew of gaymers proclaim you'd rather BUY games than "Rent" them aka use Gamepass
But at the exact same time you hype up the vastly inferior PS essentials/premium/yogabbagabbage :dahell:
You guys act like paying for Indiana Jones is better than "renting" it 6months earller than you could buy it.
Its been on sale on Xbox months ago, full price on PS tho

And you guys been on this bullshyt since.... well, GAmepass has always been bad
How can devs or Microsoft sustain doing this :sadbron:

The run Game Pass is on right now has a lot of Sony stans tight lol

Multiple things can be true. Game Pass finally got decent games and Sony is still up 100 points in the 4th quarter.
