Loki? You really considered him a top tier villain? Even fans of the movie were calling him kinda boring. What made Avengers work was the action and the chemistry between the hero's....Loki certainly didn't ruin anything, but I don't think he was as engaging as the villains I listed.
I'd put Loki on the level of say....Doc Oc in Spiderman 2.
I talked about this in another thread before...but that whole "villain gets captured on purpose" thing is just a rip off of Joker in The Dark Knight anyways.

The story for one, each film racks up tension to the big sendoff in rises, The fact that there are so many layers to nolans bat universe almost each character has their own story to tell, they dont feel paper thin and are written interesting unlike prior superhero films. Above all the biggest creative approach is that it is clever in its execution of throwing in a little bit of everything you can find in the comics and graphic novels which alot of scriptwriters for these films struggle with to this day.

Batman Begins was a Great Origins Story, probably 1 of the Films that were Closest to the Comics out of the Trilogy. I can only Wish that there was more Zsasz in that Movie, more of Scarecrow vs. Batman but it was obviously much bigger than them. Ra's Al Ghul was the Bigger Picture, as a Mentor and an Ultimate Villian. I thought the way Thomas & Martha were Portrayed was Nicely Done. It Boggles my Mind when People said that it was a Boring Movie...WTF..it's a Goddamn Origins about The Goddamn Batman. He's not just going to start the Movie by throwing Batarangs at Falcone and his Goons out of his Ass with a Batwing to Evade The G.C.P. It seems that people were just being really Impatient with this Story, if you wanted to see shyt get Blown Up then you should have gone to see Iron Man instead. Nolan took his Time with building Bruce into Batman and I think that it was Very Well Done.
The Dark Knight was the Movie for even People that weren't too Sold on Batman yet to see. There was no way that this Movie cold have Failed, it was Built for Success. I thought that Heath Ledger's Joker was damn near Perfection with his Traits, he had his own Touch in The Joker which Worked just fine with me and Plenty of other Die Hard Batman Fans. "I Think You And I Are Destined To Do This Forever." ...I mean, it's right there. This Movie wasn't as Close to Comics as Begins but it was a Great Plot for Batman & Joker, both were in there Prime and there was so much at Stake with Harvey Dent. I can sit here and tell you how much I wish Dent was Two-Face more in the Movie and didn't Die but that's just how it was with the Plot and it Fit...it made sense. Batman taking the Blame for those Deaths and The Joker's Final Quote...I just know that Nolan had another Classic featuring Ledger & Bale up his Sleeve but unfortunately Heath Ledger passed away.
The Dark Knight Rises is always being called the Weakest Film of the Trilogy. Why? Because it Challenged people to make that 8 Year Hiatus Non-Existent? Heath died and that was just it, The Story wasn't really all that Close to the Comics at all. In the Comics, Bane came after Batman after he was being pushed to his Physical & Mental limits by being up against Gotham's Worst Criminals including The Joker and also without Robin. This was an all Nolan made Story, he may have put some things in the Movie that were Noticeably from the Comics but I knew from watching TDKR from Start to Finish that Comic Geeks were most likely going to Hate %80 of this Movie.
If I could have done it differently, In between TDK & TDKR, it should have been about Batman vs. Joker & Bane at 1nce to bring it Closer to the Comics. Joker pushes Batman to his Limits, Bane breaks Batman, Batman is forced to stay down for the count in a Nolan Way of Filming, somehow Introduce somebody as dikk Grayson, Inspired by Batman because that was what Bruce wanted to do...Inspire people to take back their City and he become Robin as Batman gets back up from Recovery from Bane to seize control of Gotham again but ....that's just me and it's unfortunately Impossible to make that Movie. Why shyt it TDKR though? It was a Decent Way of going about putting this Batman Story to Sleep, getting Nolan off the Hook like he wanted and still keeping it within the Trilogy's Story. I think people expected too much of a Finale for this Trilogy, Nolan was Shook to Death of The Infamous Batman Curse that Hollywood is so Scared of. He didn't want to give up his #1 Spot, he wanted his Batman to be Remembered and I can Understand that. As A Batman Stan, I'm Happy with Begins, TDK & TDKR as a Trilogy, I was Well-Fed off this Piff. It also opened Doors for Superman Stans, now they have Man Of Steel and much more to look Forward to. Superman is most likely going to Open Doors for so many more DC Based Characters including a Batman Re-Boot especially if Warner Bros. wants a Justice League Movie to be Lifted from the Ground. They'll need to combine Minds such as The Nolan Brothers, Snyder, Goyer, and Paul Dini.
