shyt seems very unnatural. Problem is, not everyone is meant to be a leader. In order to lead, a lot of folks must follow.
Remote work or a mix of "in office" and remote though, especially if either option pays great
Got to build the skills for that though. I got into software engineering pretty much because of that. This route takes sacrifice though - if you here posting all day or on other sites and not building desired skills, that 9 to 5 door is waiting for you.
Life can be tough though and at times you have to vent, so that's understood, but then you got to realize at some point you have to put the work in regardless of if you feel like you want to or not. I'm almost positive some folks' routine is 9 to 5 -> posting on the coli or watching a movie/show/game (then posting about it) when they get home and repeat.
There’s only two choices: keep doing it or break the cycle. Chances are the best time to build skills would be when you get home, so you know what you have to do - that's personal responsibility and taking your life into your own hands. Sometimes you need to note where you’re spending time and how much of it is being lost. If you spend half or more of the time after work learning skills, by the end of a year you roughly have nearly 1000 hours of it as experience (assuming 3-4 hours of effort per work day). Again, two choices: build skills or throw those hours away. ~1000 hours of attained knowledge/skills vs no growth are the only two options per year, period. Nobody can do it for you (see my sig).
Folks that have a satisfactory life have one way or another put in that work, otherwise they’re extremely lucky. I’ve literally seen people spend days ranting and arguing (on both sides) about one of Drake’s achievements, does this sound like time well spent? Folks bringing up shyt from like 2-3 months ago and wondering why they mad all the time or got a chip on their shoulder. Time and energy that could have been used more productively elsewhere.
Seriously, after taking all that into consideration and you still refuse to give up your comfort zone/stagnant lifestyle but still want to rant about it, then you got to ask yourself wtf it is you’re scared of. 90% of the time it’s some stupid shyt too. Folks will cry because of a little mental effort but come on, you owe it to yourself to show some more heart.
Even better is having investments stacked though that will produce income to sustain lifestyle. Saving money, having a better financial stream, research, etc. all play a role into that.
