then get your CDL and drive a truck cross country
My license was suspended in 2016 until 2022 for driving under a suspension.

They were originally suspended for driving with no insurance. Safe auto couldnt wait 3 more days until my paycheck and OFC i get pulled over.

Switch it up from time to time.
New city, new job, new challenges.
Build a house Or start a family. Children are fun because they have yet to realize how garbage life is. They really excited for capri sun, slides and cartoons.
I live for my daughter nowadays, seeing her happy is all I got. Nothing else does it for me anymore for the most part, im just going through the motions.
Still hustling for more money, still having sex, still travelling but its really just out of boredom. Im sort of over life...... There is just no other option but to keep livin....so on we go.

Use your job to your advantage. It's a job yes but remember you get a paycheck. Invest your cash where you can afford and use your credit/cash to get some real estate or something. My homies back home in Oakland are techs for Comcast. They just voted the union out and got an increase. A massive increase at that. My boy went from 32.00 an hour to 39 an hour. That's not a lot of bread for the Bay Area but if you go out to places like Sac, it's a bit more affordable for property. Plus with standby time and overtime they lookin at over 100k easily. That kinda cash man start something up.

The problem is most are trying to do it on their own. It takes group economics to uplift the group. Then you have the problem of people who think they have made it and look down on others...

Cut out other distractions in your life and find productivity where you can :manny:

If you "hate" the 9-5 life, then you should also hate:
The Coli :whoa:
IG/FB/Snapchat/Twitter
Games on your phone
Sports
hanging with friends
video games
any other non productive activity that you spend your time on

If you cut out all of the above, you'd have a ton of free time and free energy to focus on what you needed to, in order to get out of the 9-5. All that I mentioned are things that keep you complacent. "It's not so bad to work, at least I can browse on the coli" or "thank God I'm off work, now time to fire up this Madden" etc.

Find a passion or a business idea, and work that shyt into the ground with all of your free time, and soon you'll be out of the 9-5 grind :wow:

I feel you breh but I also gotta remind myself of the benefits I get from a 9-5. I know that all my evenings are gonna be free to do mostly whatever I like. I guess I just don't believe the perfect job exists out there. No matter what you do in life, you are gonna wake up on some random Tuesday mad as hell you HAVE to go do something. But we are all in it. Can't let how you're feeling make you ignore the realities that we are all living with. I don't say that to never try and improve yourself or your situation, but just learning to appreciate the situations you are in because everything is gonna suck and when it comes to work, it's gonna be one of those things that is always getting in the way.

But I got benefits, PTO, I don't get micromanaged, I get treated like an adult and try to do the work well while I'm there. A job is a necessity but it doesn't define my life. Who I am and what I choose to do with my time and energy is what matters to me so the 9-5 I have now allows me to live a life I can enjoy while pushing for more.
Good for you nikka :martin:

:deadmanny::deadmanny::deadmanny::deadmanny:

Just the drive into work has me feeling like this.
Self-driving cars can't come soon enough :feedme:

What's crazy is traffic jams aren't actually caused by the volume of cars on the road...its the interaction between the increased volume and random human error that creates the hellscape that is a daily freeway commute :sadcam:

shyt seems very unnatural. Problem is, not everyone is meant to be a leader. In order to lead, a lot of folks must follow.

Remote work or a mix of "in office" and remote though, especially if either option pays great :obama:

Got to build the skills for that though. I got into software engineering pretty much because of that. This route takes sacrifice though - if you here posting all day or on other sites and not building desired skills, that 9 to 5 door is waiting for you. Life can be tough though and at times you have to vent, so that's understood, but then you got to realize at some point you have to put the work in regardless of if you feel like you want to or not. I'm almost positive some folks' routine is 9 to 5 -> posting on the coli when they get home and repeat. If you hate the cycle, you got to break it. Chances are the best time to build skills would be when you get home, so you know what you have to do - that's personal responsibility and taking your life into your own hands.

Even better is having investments stacked though that will produce income to sustain lifestyle. Saving money, having a better financial stream, research, etc. all play a role into that.
Facts. It really helps to be able to flex your schedule around - breaks up the monotony and lets you have some time in "off-peak" hours to run errands.

You end up with more free time because you aren't commuting during rush hour, and the free time you do have is higher-quality.

Agreed. West Oakland is being gentrified like crazy. Some years back I tried to get brothers to form an investment group to cop a piece of property or two. Let's hire an attorney and pool our resources. These niccas rather buy cars and max out credit cards doin stupid shyt. Now property in that area is unattainable because of the price. Folk complaining about gentrification holding picket signs n shyt, but when it comes time to get in the game and make a move niccas got cold feet. So I made the move myself and bought way the fukk out. I made some bread but would have quadrupled my cash in Oakland. We could have reinvested and bought more property and renter out units. So sometimes you have to do it by yourself. And in a situation like this there is nothing wrong with that. Like minded people to exchange ideas will change your life
