I was in this long line in Sears on Christmas Eve, standing behind this slim dark-skinned sister wearing a tight red dress with a nice round a**. We were in line so long, that we had to start conversating. So when she was next, and the cashier called her up, I asked if we could continue our chat after she was finished, and she agreed. Then while she was buying her stuff, her credit card failed, but she wounded up paying for her items. After that, she stepped somewhere to the side, and waited for me.
So when I bought my stuff, and met back up with her, she decided to wait until then to tell me she had somebody (meanwhile she couldn't stop checking her emails). And she told me the stuff she was buying was for her man...smh. Now that I know how Atlanta is, she was probably hoping I'd pay for her stuff when her credit card failed. I remember when I met back up with her after buying my item, these two older dudes were shaking their heads at me, like they never seen a brother shoot his shot. It wasn't like they knew I was wasting my time or anything, but more like they were signifying I was pressed. That's how negroes are down here, even the older ones. If anything, they probably thought I was gonna score. A couple of negroes did something similar to me the first night I visited Atlanta, but that particular chick wound up in my motel room two days later. Anyway, when this chick here told me she had somebody after all that, this was the last time I hollered at a sister in front of a crowd down here. I mean that was too much work for nothing, for a dude my age. And this was over 10 years ago. Girls have a history of doing similar things like that with brothers down here. That's why so many brothers don't even bother them if they don't know them already.
Today when I drive by that mall, the parking lot is practically empty, compared to how it use to be. I don't even go in there for a walk anymore. And you can forget about me buying anything, even from the food court.
