started doing it 45 seconds on, 45 seconds off.

i'm up to 1 min and 30 seconds on, 40 seconds off.

trying to get to 2 minutes on, 30 seconds off.

i do this for about 8-10 times depending on how hard the rest of my workout is.

how long u been jump roping for?

im might be a bit more advanced but i do 3-5 minutes, most of the time 3.

i'll go 3 min without stopping, IF i happen to fuk up, I gotta START OVER! When i jump i change the pace and jumping foot so it won't get boring. I usually start out slow then speed it up, then slow it down, the speed it up again for recovery. very underrated exercise though.
