They got me a few years ago. Talking about a unpaid bill from when I was 18. They told me I owed $210, I told them I would give them $75 to settle on the spot.![]()

Yes. Basically try to negotiate not paying the interest on the debt and then pay what you actually owe. If not they will file a lien and begin going after whatever money they can get outta you. You dont want to get to court. You want to begin paying.U think they would drop the lawsuit if I negotiate something wit them on the phone![]()
thats only with cell phone, cable bills, etc. as far as I know. credit card companies don't play that. but yours was a really small debt so maybe exceptions.

But they DO. Unlike the coli nikkas I live in a real world. I'm not a millionaire and I don't have certs so I know what bills are. My girl co signed for her pops to get a car 8 years ago. He died and the car got repo'd. Last year they asked my girl to pay the remaining $8,000. They said they would take $150 payments every month for however long she said no.Around September she got a call from another debt agency talking about give them $1,200 and they'll call it even.

Call them and try to settle breh. Most credit card companies usually just charge off an account after a period of time. Just cut their losses. You must owe enough for them to take it there.
Either way you good breh. Most likely they'll settle. If not and you have to go to court it will probably go to arbitration and be settled.
Only thing you got to be mindful of is the terms of settlement. Say they settle for $1000. You have to pay that off in a set time frame. 3 months or so. Very important that you ask how long you can get to pay it off.
