On the real tho, what did you feel a need to spend $3300 that you didn't have on? :wtf:

If you spending that kind of bread you should actually have it.

It's not the worst. Say you settle for 70%, that's around $2300. That's $766 a month for 3 months. That's the thing breh, how much can you realistically pay? Once you have that in mind that's how you approach this. Another option is a longer term debt repayment plan. It will be less per month but you will be paying more for a lot longer. Either way before you make that call you have to figure out how much can YOU pay..

There's like a 99% chance they drop it as long as you agree to come out that $$$. The vast majority of these types of things end up with the person settling.

Your credit tho. :mjcry:

You sure its not a collection agency suing on behalf of the Capital One account? Normally, banks sell their past due accounts in bulk to collection agencies to write off some of their dead beats. If this is the case, try your best to not talk over the phone and have everything documented in writing.

If it's a collection agency, they are willing to settle for a lower amount, normally they mark-up the amount to turn a profit. It is always negotiable, I try to never pay past 10-15% my original balance, push for lower if you can negotiate well. Good luck to you.

Most likely yes. At the end of the day they just want bread. Any bread. 3 grand ain't enough for them to fight this all the way. Now if this was 30 grand? :usure:

Sleep easy breh, what you dealing with right here is light work. Save your income tax check and use that to pay this off. Matter of fact don't sleep easy. Sleep, wake up, turn off the alarm clock and try to go back to sleep. That feeling before you fall back asleep? That's what this is.:snooze:
