It's not about finding on nice moment... this isn't a situation where somebody taped your wackass pickup game on friday afternoons, and the put together a :30 clip of somebody knocking down jumpers....

The point is that you have 12 year olds performing advanced moves that show an advanced understanding of positioning, footwork, balance and timing.

The amount of people that want to come in and discredit young basketball players is HILARIOUS. Ol' back in my day ass posters.:mjrascal:
well yeah you're right, I grew up watching these ballislife and other mixtapes so shyt looks like natural to me when kids are doing these stunts, but indeed they look way too advanced for their age, I guess with all technologies and other things we are supposed to expand it

It's Moreso the overhype of these YouTube hall of famers at such a young age

People claimed Seventh Woods was the next great pg because of his highlights turns out he's not nearly as good as advertised

Why Chase Adams got on Derrick Rose knee pads and shyt already when he's 12 years old though :dwillhuh:

Kids are advancing, but how long before we got 7th graders getting microfracture surgery and shyt

It's probably just being safe. Doubt he has problems this early.

Does anyone here remember people in Middle school playing like this? Even for one or two flashes.

I get that fundamentals are being hurt, but what in the fukk? These kids were born in the 2000s, in and out dribbles, euro-steps, shamgods, all sorts of advanced moves :wtf:

No....no I have not seen anything like these kids coming up. At most i had a homie who I could dunk in Middle Dhool that was no more than 5'10 but that's about as freakishly skilled as it got.

With these kids, we are seeing the impact of youtube and other mediums giving these youngins players to emulate early. That's what NFL Films did for kids like me.

Evolution brehs....evolution :to:

I legit get mad at the amount of knowledge that these kids have access to. Like...fukking pissed off...salty as a motherfukker. So many stupid little fukking tips and fundamentals, that my Coaches, who with all due respect were good dudes, but didnt know fukkin dikk about sports....

I remember seeing this video when I was young...and practicing this move for hours and hours....

the shyt never worked...not once :damn::damn::damn:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
just camera phones

I dont think things are any different now than back in the day.

I think there's a difference in volume, athletic freaks have always existed but there seems to be more and more of these 7-8th graders with ridiculous explosion. Also, training techniques going on at early ages, kids doing plyometrics and getting into weight lifting early. The gym I go to there's kids that can't be older than 13 there doing squats and box jumps.

thats true

but I am sure there were 12 and 13 year olds who were doing freakish things around the country that we had no idea about.

I do agree that kids are getting into real training now at a younger age and a lot of the myths about weight training as kids have been debunked.

This kid is apparently the show stopper as far as handles -

Tons are forgotten, but what is shocking to me is how many of them have incorporated advanced moves into their games. If you're over 21, I doubt you were playing against other middle schoolers and dudes were hitting shamgods, into in & outs to Dirk 1 leggers.

When he hit that spin move at 1:14, I turned it off. I ran PG in high school and I had decent handle but I wasn't doing people like that. I'm a man with pride. I'm not trying to be depressed and shyt all day. :beli:

Look at LeBron, there's video of him dunking in More Than a Game when he was 13-14 and he wasn't doing some of the things a lot of these kids were doing.

I wish I had lifted in 9th grade, I thought it would mess up my shot :to:

:dead:

I had a weak off hand in HS, I thought I was nice until I went to camp where a lot of people were athletically on my level or better and I got exposed so badly :to: Looking at that video makes me want to go chop my hands off for betraying me.
