That entire Forbes story is referencing VGchartz. Which one is it, fukker? Cant have it both ways.

And yeah, game companies engaged in a bitter console war clearly have no reason to fudge numbers. Not like those unbiased 3rd party sites that have everything to gain.

I mean album sales are estimates...we'd be better off just asking rappers and labels how much they sold from here on out, right? TV ratings are flawed, lets just ask producers how many people REALLY watch their shows. Go right to the source for the most accurate info, right? Right, you goddamn clown?

The only reason I referenced the Forbes report because you and your buddies have been on and on about sales vs the Wii U, So I point out their report is based on a BS website even they mentions it's shady past. You notice it has no comments on the report because nobody give 2 shyts about this other than Sony pony using it in a sale war. The difference between NPD, media crate etc is they get their info from retailers etc. If you had bother to read the articles I posted or search yourself the site is ran by amateurs who guess their numbers and correct some of them after the NPD, media crates etc report theirs. They are not on the same level as them.

I already read those articles before you linked them. As I said, many of them are themselves written by amateurs with no credentials, and even they acknowledge that all figures are estimations by nature. If vgchartz were just blindly guessing as the claims say, they'd be off by a hell of a lot more than they have been on the relatively rare times that they have gone back and corrected their numbers, something they have not done on current ps3 and 360 numbers.

It'd be one thing if you had two sets of numbers we could look at and compare, but you dont. You've referenced these allegedly reputable sources over and over and still have yet to post any numbers that contradict anything from VGchartz on the matter. Its not "well these numbers are more legit than these because of a, b and c." Its just "no these numbers are not legit because I dont like them and no I do not have anything else to compare it to."

Your bias is making you look foolish.

Yes I did , I reference numbers from both Sony and MS in this very thread. But your special logic is to dont trust the people that make the consoles but trust others who have a history of fudging numbers. Yes I know your schtick by now.

Um yes I do plus third party, Plus you have a hard time understanding that Im not against legit third party reporting. Im against people making up numbers and posting it as fact. The difference between NDP, Media crate etc are they are companies who make money off of the sale collection data. They have relationships with retailers, suppliers etc to get these numbers. vgchartz only get money from web clicks. No business are paying for their analytic's because their numbers are not reliable and they don't report on how they got them. They are known to retroactively change their numbers once NPD, Media crate etc. come out with their numbers. Do you see a pattern here? Now if you don't see this you will never see it.

Of the next gen systems, the PS4 is cheaper than an X1... you know how many parents chose to purchase the cheaper system for their child over the holidays?

Y'all gotta stop sleepin on the Wii U too.... the games that are gonna carry that system are just now about to be released starting with Mario 3D World... plus the Wii U was being sold in bundles less than the PS4 and X1 so what do you expect?

Nonetheless..... I'm happy the X1 is losing... so they can drop the price a little so I can have all 3 systems because I'm not paying over $400 for a system.... hell, I didn't bite on buying the Wii U Mario bundle until I got it new for below $250... I'm cheap
