Listen , dude is one of the most smoothest, fanciest players to ever step foot on the court, but people was be acting like he was the 2nd coming of Jordan, or that he would be up there with the kobes and lebrons of the world. Even before the injury dude wasn't averging more the 21 a game. He was a solid player on the court that put up average numbers. I don't want to hear any what ifs

Edit- the first response was "he was a point guard"

So he was a point guard who couldn't average more than 7 assist :jbhmm:

a 20pts 7ast point guard and not even in his prime yet, just average?

:heh: nikkaz on the coli man.

You literally would have had to be there to know how good penny was.

But I've never heard anyone say he would be.better or even on the level of mj.

But if he never got injured, he def would have been a top 20 player all time. There was literally nothing he couldn't do. He wouldn't be in that jordan magic Kareem level but he would have def been in that kg, dirk, wade, melo, iverson level.

Now before everyone loses it, I'm not saying he was better than those guys, what I'm saying is his legacy would have been on that level, like Gary payton, Jason kidd, that level.
