You're a hypocrite who no longer has a leg to stand on. I said what I had to say on the matter. You decided to challenge it on some "Think about the employee" shyt.

My response was that if it was a concern, I wouldn't have a Samsung. That doesn't make me a hypocrite. It makes me consistent. Ultimately, people don't concern themselves with the labour that goes into the products they consume.

You can argue that this mentality is worse when that labour relies on exploiting the lax laws in developing countries. But your stupid ass is trying to wave it off as not being the same.

It makes you a hypocrite. You cannot talk up the need to consider someone you have not entered into a contract with, whilst acting as though that consideration should not be present in a situation where the conditions are worse.

At the end of the day, it boils down to this. The employee does not have an agreement with the consumer. If the employee is unhappy with the money they have received, they should take their grievances up with the person they entered into an agreement with, their employer.

There is a reason why they don't demand a stable salary to replace tips and that's because they prefer to gamble on people's generosity. It is their perogative, the same way it is their issue when that gamble does not pay off.
So you're a person who doesn't care about others of a lower socioeconomic status or inability to be upwardly mobile? Is that accurate and is that better than a hypocrite?

I've explained why the two scenarios are not the same. You can keep calling me a hypocrite because you don't like the answer.

Like I said, you don't live here or know why everyone is in that particular industry with such a gamble. So your stupid ass can move along.

:yeshrug: I’m a 15 (bare minimum service ) to 25 percent tipper...

:unimpressed: Idk what each restaurant is paying their employees, and it’s not my business

:martin:I’m paying $8o for a meal AND you want me to pay your employees’ wages? Max 25% depending on the total cost of the bill

Why isn't the demand made of the employer.

A tip is a kind gesture that varies depending on the experience and individual. The salary should be covered by the employer.

Like can people go to a restaurant and opt out of the service? "Nah, it is cool b. I'll collect my dinner when it's ready".
Nah for real id walk up to the kitchen and collect my own plate and drinks real talk

I go for the food not the service

Have a little device on the table that beeps whenu shyt ready and walk up and get my shyt

I always wonder where all of that money is really going at these restaurants. Their overhead can't nearly be that expensive. They charge 4-5x the amount of what the meal actually costs to acquire.

Their operating costs are pretty high.

They pay a much higher rate for cable. They basically get charged per chair

Their electric bills are through the roof because of the big ass refrigerators that they run all day and night as well as AC/heat

And most of all, commercial leases are expensive as fukk. It is not uncommon at all for a hole in the wall bar down the street to be subjugated to an $8,000 monthly lease

I don't why people work at bartenders or waiters. Can't they make more working at Wal-Mart? I don't thin the requirements were that high.

its a fun gig, depending on where you are it certainly is way more of a blast than a walmart...and you can actually make more money than walmart would ever pay you....

don't let this vid fool you, bartenders especially girls at the right spot are leaving with a G a weekend sometimes.; while having fun.

damn some of ya'll really never experienced that industry life huh? lol

This is more than appropriate though. Brehs will take that same $80 outing and tip $5.
How do you get paid $2 per hour? Isn't the federal minimum wage 8.75 or something?
The tips cover the minimum wage, the operating system in the restaurant tracks your sales and card tips.
