decent no.... gets you from point to point b... yes

but you better be saving money the whole time... cause you'll need another car or another 1500 to fix it FAST
It sucks but if you coming outta pocket and can't get a loan $5 is a good starting point...

Damn breh.... Im tired of walkin and getting on the bus/train... I
Dont need nothing brand new... Just to get me to point A&B... But i guess its worth the wait right?

If your planning on getting a used car bring a check list of items to look for; for example:

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/2012/12/inspecting-a-used-car/index.htm

http://m.wikihow.com/Check-out-a-Used-Car-Before-Buying-It

http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/a7280/how-to-buy-a-used-car-without-getting-burned/

Also when you look under the car; understand what the engine fluid is suppose to look like; I remember AAA has certified mechanics, where you can pay a small amount of money and have them look at your car.

For real I've seen plenty of people buy cars in that price range and not have many issues
And what do you consider many issues, and how costly were they?

A $1500 car is going to be older, so when is the last time the time belt was changed, will it need new tires, is the wiring in the car good, is there a problem with the transmission, does the AC run, etc.

As time passes things start to fall apart or stop working, and all of that shyt can cost more than what you paid for the car. Buyers remorse sets in once you realized you could have just spent that extra $1500 on a $3000 newer car. (Any used car can have those issues, but the older they get the more likely they are going to start happening)

This shyt true...I used to have a 02 Grand Prix. Paid like $2000 for it. Within a couple months I had spent almost $1000 in repairs.

AC ain't even work in that bytch in the summer I was burning tf up :damn:

point a to point b is fine breh

i had a 88 deville i bought for 1700... lasted me a year or two... then brakes failed.. would have cost 3k to fix it

so at that point, i was back at square one

as my mom tells me "never keep a car till it's worth nothing... then you'll have nothing when it's time to get a new one"

seems tho now you have no choice... like i said.. just be saving money in the meantime.. don't get the car and blow money thinking you good now
