With 1500 , you can use that for a down payment for a nice car with low mileage. Nissan dealership has cars with lifetime warranty for engine and transmission.
Sounds good until you factor in Insurance plus the monthly fee. If he is only looking to spend $1500 then he wont be able to afford that.Would probably end up losing the car and back to square one.

I know he would have to get insurance with any car, but if the car is paid off he can get liability which is way cheaper.

if you are going to get a car that you want to keep for the long-term and not worry about repairs, a monthly payment for an updated car that comes with warranty we be more reliable than a used car that is worth 1500-5000 and has high mileage.

Yeah, but I think the OP just cant afford that. When you are young its better to own the car than to risk losing the car while messing up your credit because you weren't aware of all the extra cost that goes into it.

used - do the same research but TAKE A MACHANIC with you to look at the car... everything can look good to you and i, but it still be a piece of shyt... if you get it used from a dealership, then it would be beneficial to get a warranty.. cause you still aren't 100% on what's gonna break and when.. you engine could blow in 2 years on a 7 year old car
Yes, get a warranty for a used car.

It will save your ass. :whew:

Lol, dude was like selling it for 3500 & said it needed a new engine. And someone else bought it!!! :skip:I drive by the area that it was at when I go to work & it's no longer there.

They might have had a garage, people can do an engine swap if they got the tools and money, just imagine plugging in a brand new V8 engine in a car you already own you brought for dirt cheap.

People always overlook the small thing like check the tread depth on the tires condition of the batteries wiper blades fluid levels shyt like that.

if that shyt is not up to par don't even bother with that car because if they can maintain that shyt then it most likely will cause cascading defects that will cost you more money down the road
