Several people have corrected you on this, yet you refuse to listen.

The rockets were 30-17 before acquiring drexler, and finished the season 16-17 :russ:

 the rockets WERE NOT confident at that time.

Rockets in Disarray Over Drexler Trade / Shooting guard Maxwell in a funk

The Rockets also aren't ruling out another deal before the February 23 trading deadline while angling to repeat as NBA champions.

Drexler joins a Houston team in third place in the Midwest Division, four games behind Utah. They have the fifth-best record in the Western Conference at 30-17.

"There's still a little time left," Weinhauer said. "We'll continue to explore all options just like we've done in the past. If something shows up that seems to be in the best interest for us, then that's what we'll consider.

the numbers honestly aren't a core point of my talking point. They were the defending champions and were lookin at a 5 seed and sliding before the drexler trade.

the 95 rockets as a 6th seed beat 4 50 win teams to win a title. This guy just dismisses it like it's nothing.

They beat a combined 6 HOFs on their way to the ship
Stockton
Malone
Barkley
Robinson
Shaq
Penny

in retrospect, the warriors this playoff run has only beaten 1 HOF for their ring
Howard (borderline, will prob make it)
Lebron

and they had HCA every round

So the rockets went from a borderline .500 team (your words) to not confident at the drexler trade? :camby:

just admit you was factually incorrect and keep it moving. This nikka said "They weren't confident" :heh:

is the 'number of 50 win teams' they beat like some sort of espn stat you're chirping these days? yeah they beat some good teams but don't act like they did some 2000 lakers shyt. my quote:

In the playoffs they go 5, 7, 6 games before facing the 'in over their head' magic. Nobody remembers that....
They faced elimination games in almost every series that year and barely won...

and WTF do the warriors have to do with anything?

The 01 Lakers (Correcting you) IMO didn't beat the same quality of teams the rockets faced. (That neither here or there in this debate). Also i brought up GS to show you the difference in talent the 6th seeded rockets faced vs the talent the juggernaut warriors are facing today.

Give houston credit. What they did in the playoffs as the underdog in every round won't be replicated again

Lakers
PREACH.

He broke out the Dream Shake in 92'. Niqqas would make you think he had that in his arsenal from Day 1. Plus...he was a HOT HEAD earlier in his career and would take himself out of game being angry and shyt. :heh: Took him years to get to the point of success he reached.
Remember when he decked Kupchak in the 86 Wcf
