I never played a Zelda game in my life - Am I missing out?

played every one except the ones on DS and i love the series
but the story doesnt change much from game to game.

Yeah, thats my main issue with the games. And the lack of voice acting. Like nintendo, you lazy fukks, its 2012. Come the fukk on.

Link to the Past and Super Mario World are probably my two most played games as a kid. Loved all the Zelda's, though most of the new ones have been crap compared to SNES and N64 ones.

I fukks with the gold cartridge, Link to the Past, OoT and Wind Waker. WW was the last Zelda game I played. From reading this thread apparently I need to get with Majora's Mask

I tried the old SNES game for a few minutes but it reminded me too much of those Pokemon games my little brother use to play so I quit before giving it much of a chance to grow on me.

Anyway, like someone else said if you like action/adventure you have to at least give it a shot. The series fell off recently but Link to the Past (the game that reminds you of fukking pokemon. ) is one of my favorite SNES games and Ocarina of Time is dope too.

They were done JUST right. Epic.

I think everyone should try and beat Ocarina of Time at least once. The feeling I had when I beat it as a youngin was incredible. I felt like I could beat anyone. lol

However, if you try them, do not make the mistake of comparing them to recent games. You must understand, that they are still old games.

They age pretty well though for old games. I still manage to play them time to time.

I remember being a bit depressed after beating OOT and MM.
