nikka I don’t give a fukk what u think about them beats. They are ALLLLLL better than Laffy Taffy. If I popped that beat on without the song nikkas would laugh me out the building if I’m a producer in ANY time frame.
What the artist does with beat will always be more important than the beat itself

What the fukk are we talking about here? The production right? That shyt is garbage. Soulja Boy Crank Dat >>>>>>>>>. And he was a fukkin kid when he made it. And even THAT was some mid. Laffy Taffy a simple ass beat with stock FL sounds and u dead ass tryna argue for it. I had people I knew out in ATL doing music with FL at the time that was WAY better than that Laffy Taffy shyt. Like I said before. Songs and beats like Laffy Taffy had people disrespecting FL Studio as a DAW. Not knowing it’s full potential. I think it was FL Studio 4 at the time when them shyts came out. And my boy One Shot was making CRAZY shyt wit FL at that time frame.

This song was pivotal. This song let the old ppl @ the time know they were old and their time was up.

The point ppl always forget is that the youth runs hip hop and when this song dropped the youth was fukkin with it. It was like a rebellion thing at one point too. Like bet old ppl hate this TURN IT UPPPPPP LETS GET ON SOME PPLS NERVES.

It was around this point where a lot of guys got lost in the sauce and said fukk rap lol
What’s crazy is a lot of hiphop nerds hated Nelly and the south in 00s and constantly complained about them ruining hiphop but Larry Taffy was the moment that cemented the fact that what they thought hiphop should be is not how most fans felt

you even see it on here a lot, most of the people are out of touch on hiphop past 2006
