I never understood why people say Witcher 3 combat is wack

Just like CP2077, the combat is very easy to figure out, and ultimately break the game.

Like someone else said here, there's certain skill paths way more valuable than others.

Play Assassin's Creed, Shadow of Mordor, Arkham Series, Sleeping Dogs, The Warriors, Horizon, Spiderman, etc etc and you have games that you can actually fukking play! Witcher 3 was shyt.

1. Sword swinging mechanics look like my son dusting off his room
2. The clunky movements feel like you have jello for hips and thigh movements
3. You walk like you took a shyt ton of drinks in GTA 4

The game reminds me of when Acclaim made wrestling games. Having to do a crap load of button presses just to get a accurate move together.

Ugh, for such a amazing game, it aged like the first one and that one played like assssssssss!!!!

Except in gameplay, where it counts the most for games. Action combat wise, every game listed there plays better than Witcher 3. Witcher beats those in story, sidequests, lore and things like that. The intangibles.

The combat isn't THAT bad. I just beat the game's DLC 2 days ago. It's serviceable enough to play all of it and the dlc.

a new game plus with the dismemberment % cranked up to 100, its a power fantasy for me.
Enjoyed the combat alot,

Hate health sponge combat systems though, i usually dial up or down the settings and slider to ensure i can one shoot people if i hit them in the face with a sword.
Reason why Ghost of Tsushima is goated.

It's not that bad, but it's not really good either. Serviceable is definitely the correct word to use on that. And the last few Assassin's Creed games definitely have better combat. Sure, they're definitely not better overall games, but that's not my stance here.
