Dantley regularly averaged 30 ppg during the 80s (with a skillset that doesn't come close to the likes of LeBron, Curry, Durant etc), and muh'fukkas really believe that MJ was playing during an era with some Medieval-type defenses. you have no idea how good dantley was. he is one of the most under appreciated player of all time. he was not even 6ft 5 full, but he had one of the best post game. he got to the line at will too. go look up word 'crafty' and you will see dantley.
He was basically a scorer version of Charles Barkley without the weight and strength match charles' rebounding ability. dantley is the top 5 SF scorer of all time. if he played today he would be smaller, but smarter melo with harden like ability to get to the line.
simply there's nothing nikkas can do against a nikka who just knows how to score. dantley will shoot around you. do a little hook and just be athletic enough that you can't really block his shot. and he is one of those nikka you think you can beat and you take him lightly but at the end of the game he scored more than you. showing you it ain't never about athleticism.
some nikkas just know how to score.

Meh. I still think he’d be around 50% in todays game. He was too good around the basket and in the mid range. So maybe his FG drops, but I think he would be a much better 3 point shooter if he played today...we all know he had a great jumpshot...he would most likely have refined and extended it since that’s what today’s game calls for
Lebron has been over 50% 8 out of the past 9yrs....KD has been 50% for the past 6. I can’t see someone with the finishing ability, fundamentals, jumpshot and IQ of an MJ not hovering around that level
MJ will eventually shoot 38% on 3s in today's nba. it just a matter of attempts and practice.

Stats actually favor Adrian Dantley, dude. If somebody just looked at Dantley's BBall Reference numbers without watching games they'd pull away thinking he was the greatest scorer of all time.
