Felt kinda guilty this morning when I woke up with no work to go to. Not the feeling I was expecting to be honest, but I think it’ll pass.

Felt this way about every retail job I had. The last job I had was Marshalls. Micromanagement tend to belittle you, hours be long as hell, toxic environment. Never felt comfortable at this job nor any job really. Met some cool coworkers, but other than that, it was time to go.

No job is worth the mental stress. Props for leaving, your health comes first and foremost.
I’m 34 now. My last retail job was when I was 19. Can’t imagine ever working in one ever again. I have respect for people who still work in one though but naaah

I guess congrats
I hope you got savings
Me personally I wouldn't quit a job until I found another one, especially in this economy, too many uncertainties.
What field you want to go into? What's your educational background?
I've helped people change careers, I can offer advice if you wish.

This is how a lot of Americans feel about their jobs. Working from home alleviated some of that stress. And now Biden is talking about going back in? Companies are about to start losing tons of employees

I think that’s what saved me from quitting. Pre-pandemic I was always on indeed/LinkedIn trying to get the fukk outta here. Now that I WFH and have a nice setup, I actually enjoy my job more and my productivity is better. I think the added stress of the commute and mindless white people conversations in the office annoyed me more than I realized.
