I’m 34 now. My last retail job was when I was 19. Can’t imagine ever working in one ever again. I have respect for people who still work in one though but naaahFelt this way about every retail job I had. The last job I had was Marshalls. Micromanagement tend to belittle you, hours be long as hell, toxic environment. Never felt comfortable at this job nor any job really. Met some cool coworkers, but other than that, it was time to go.
No job is worth the mental stress. Props for leaving, your health comes first and foremost.
