I regret majoring in Philosophy

When I was a freshman/sophomore I wanted to major in psychology. Was even knee deep in the pre-reqs.

My mom told me to cut that dumb shyt out and get a degree I can monetize quickly and make Psych my minor.

By the time I was a senior I was getting a business degree and didn’t even bother to finish the Psych minor because I didn’t see the importance.

Going to college without knowing exactly what you want from it is like going to a car dealership with 50k and buying a brokendown lemon instead of a brand new vehicle.

And both cost the exact same...

not sure why society expects a 17/18 year old to know exactly what they want to do in life. I think either a gap year is necessary to experience life

Why the laugh? Kant is easily a top 5 philosopher all time. He led the league in 2-3 statical categories (categorical imperatives, transcendental idealism, shytted on Pascal’s wagers and ontological proofs, etc). I disagree with him on nearly everything, but he’s easily top 5.

unless you’re going the business, economics , stem , lawyer route

go learn a trade . If I could do it all over again I’d learn how to code off the bat rather then going to school for 4 years
