Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
First of all, that ain't 19 players and the list is a complete joke anyway.

T-Mac, Kidd, Wade, Barkley and Malone ahead of KG? :wow:

The only ones in the league history that are clearly ahead of Garnett is the following, in no order;

Jordan
Russell
Chamberlain
Shaq
Bird
Kareem
Magic
Olajuwon

Then you have to rate two guys like Duncan and Kobe ahead of him based on their accolades, although peak Garnett edges Kobe and his and Duncans peaks are a wash basically, although I prefer Garnetts overall impact but it's meh. Erving is kinda iffy, but I wouldn't be surprised if some people ranked him higher.

With that said, Garnett is around ~ 11-12.. possibly 13 at worst all-time although I feel Oscar Robertsons impact is kinda overrated.

:russ: @ Garnett being "11-13"

Wilt
Shaq
Robinson
Dream
West
Magic
Zeke
Russell
Jordan
Bean
LeBron
Duncan
Dirk (Yes DIRK)
Kareem
Bird
Dr. J
Moses

Damn near all of these guys won finals MVP, and multiple chips, KG is the ultimate complimentary player and his peak was nowhere near Duncan or Kobes. You can even make a case for Wade bing better based on the run he went on to win his first title.

And if we get into accolades, then someone like Bob Pettit is more accomplished than him as well.

kg was looked at as better than kobe from 97-06, lets be real, kobe was shaq bytch and was a secondary nikka, lol at kidd or tmac being better, kg played wit trash his entire career outside of boston, and the year he lost to the lakers every guard was hurt, man had no help, kg has probably better or just as good stats as duncan has head to head vs each other, and lets talk bout duncan gettin sonned in the playoffs for like the last five years, and every series kg played in the playoff for the past 5 year he been best player at his position, lol at kg can lock down a player but duncan can lock down a team, nikka kg is a much better defensive player and d leader, just look at how the celtics d crumble when they take kg out

KG has never had a player of Shaq's caliber on his squad or role players that Kobe has played with in first championship run. You can definitely have them as equals during those years but Kobe had all the glory.

Off the court? That just proves you know nothing about KG. He might be the way he is on the court but whenever he's off the court he's cool as hell, laughing it up and shyt. One of the nicest guys off the court, both doing charity stuff and taking care of teammates. Scalabrine was talking about how Garnett bought like 4-5 suits for every new guy on the Celtics in 2008, rookies and staff when they were in Italy for their preseason. Get the fukk outta here with that bullshyt about him being an a$$hole off the court.

As for this thread, :usure:

Kevin Garnett vs. Tim Duncan | Basketball-Reference.com

game, set, match.

He did that for his teammates and the organization. Just to regular people, folks always say he'e generally been an a$$hole when they met him.

fukk you nikka and fukk KG.

People who watched basketball back then. Look at the MVP voting. KG always came in second or third from 99 to 04.

ESPN, Sports Illustrated etc always had KG as the third best player behind Duncan and Shaq.

What the fukk does MVP voting have to do with who the best player is? That is a shytty argument. Kobe and Shaq were always splitting each other's votes.

KG and Kobe were the same tier, but your MVP argument is horrendous. The only year KG was clearly better than Kobe was 04, while Kobe was adjusting to have all those old heads on his squad.

05 Kobe got hurt.

01-03 it was a toss up, but KG had more responsibility on his team. But the idea that KG was considered better than Kobe definitively from 99-05/06 is nonsense.
