What kind of physical condition where you in before the septic shock? Do you feel at least 80 percent of your baseline?

I was fine just minimal pain for a week then the staples were removed and I started hurting bad in my abdominal area right below your sternum it got worse so I went back to him and he admitted me done a ct was like so 6 days later I became unresponsive and was basically dying in my bed I figured it was just post op pain but I had sepsis all along went into the shock and passed away but was resuscitated post septic shock I have a lot of issues now not sickly just long term damage

While I was on life support for 3 weeks they kept me in a coma so I don’t remember anything till like a day I was extubated like at my worse my family couldn’t even talk in my room in the icu dead silence my moms just had to set at my bedside and hold my hand when my family would cry they’d have to leave my room not to disturb me.. That’s when they wasn’t looking for me to make it through the night.. Hate they had to go through that it bothers me

@surf heres some funny stories breh I wasn’t being a a$$hole in my response to you

I remember I was still on the ventilator for I’d say 2 or 3 days awake when I stabilized and you can’t talk with that breathing tube in your throat and I remember I was dying for something to drink so by about the 3rd day I jerked that life support off myself

Jerked that bytch so hard it broke and was blowing air out the tube like a damn blow dryer or air compressor or something


My nurse was in there chatting with the fam and they was supposed to take me off that shyt that day and they kept delaying it first it was likke 10am then they said 12 then they said 4 I got heated and jerked that bytch out myself soon as he seen me reaching for it he said “Bryan don’t”

Soon as he got the word don’t out of his mouth I hit him with the and jerked it so hard it broke I was thirsty as shyt

Appreciate it breh. Went in for surgery to remove a mass in his lower intestine. Surgery went without a hitch and he was cool, then his blood pressure dropped and they had to bring him back three times. My grandmother told them not to revive him it happened again.

Appreciate it breh. Went in for surgery to remove a mass in his lower intestine. Surgery went without a hitch and he was cool, then his blood pressure dropped and they had to bring him back three times. My grandmother told them not to revive him it happened again.

That’s exactly what happened with me he admitted me cause of the pain he’s like the surgery went fine Idk what it could be admitted did a ct scan of my stomach was like you’re fine

All along it was sepsis a blood infection from. the first procedure... wanna know the crazy part breh I had already had sepsis and I know this now cause untreated it advances from sepsis to severe sepsis then you’ll go into septic shock which is what happened 6 days later he flat out missed it..



The emergency room I was rushed to found it within seconds it’s easily to disccover all that needs done is simple blood lab work



I hate that for you and you’re family breh and your grandpa.. My surgery was laparoscopic it’s a easy surgery no major incision just five 1 inch incisions for the tools and camera it should’ve never happened or went that far with me and especially your grandpa.. When did he pass & what year was the surgery bruh that’s a wrongful death suit if it hasn’t been over 2 years

My mom was heated and wanted to follow up with it because a couple of lawyers said that they would take her case, but my grandmother and my aunts just wanted to put everything behind them. They actually had a falling out because of it for a while.

Around that time, quite a few black patients were going to that hospital; some for minor issues, and they wouldn't make it out. There was a complaint one lady had that delivered a baby that was stillborn. She said the nursing staff was rude to her, cracking jokes, referred to the baby as "it", and wrapped the baby up and put it at the foot of her bed instead of handing her the baby so she could at least say goodbye.

The day I collapsed I remember taking a hot bath and laying down my mom called the crib no answer so she come over saw my whip came in the house found me unresponsive I remember nothing about that day after I took a hot bath and laid in my bed I took a ibuprofen then I went unresponsive and dying the emt told mom my pulse was in the low 20s if she’d found me any later I would have been gone gone fr, Like I said sorry for keep repeating this but I died in route to the hospital they had to pull over resuscitate me and intubate me my heart stopped I didn’t make it prolly driving 5 mins on the way there.. She wanted me took to a better hospital but I was unresponsive and dying slowly that I wouldn’t make it and they were correct they lost me before I even made it to the closest hospital which is 10 mins by car idk how fast a ambulance can drive the trip in a life threatening situation..

So that day I just remember laying in my bed I don’t remember my mom finding me or the trip to the hospital, I was taken in emergency surgery I was already on life support and in a controlled coma my mom had to sign the document to have emergency surgery they had to call in the emergency surgery team to the hospital once I arrived they was off work but they told mom & my bro if you guys don’t sign this he WILL die...

I remember bits and pieces of the hospital like when they change my bed but they kept me knocked out all the time other than that...

I seen my dad whose gone idk if it was a hallucination or spirit Once I stabilized and come to for good I had no idea where I was or what happened my brain had to reprogram as well from on ventilation for 3 1/2 weeeks couldn’t remember names bro I remember I had to learn to read a clock again the ones with hands not digital

I can think of more but I wouldn’t be shocked that I had hallucinations I was on All kinds of pain shots morphine dilauden percs God knows what else

I didn’t know where I was I didn’t even know I had emergency surgery till I moved around and hurt like hell my surgeon and mom told me I had surgery I had no clue

Yes the surgeon missed the sepsis completely when I was complaining of abdominal pain and misdiagnosed it 6 days later all that happened

Wow man this story has me shook. How are doctors supposed to check for sepsis? Is that supposed to show up in blood work?
