I think grime beats are wavy as fukk...they just gotta change flows more and they'd be good.
They do new york rapper shyt like "keep the same pattern up for 16 bars with no variation" over beats that REQUIRE flow changes at least every 4 bars. I think grime is dope as fukk and I enjoy the midwest-esque approach. They need to study more midwest rappers. shyt would be lit if there was a middle ground between grime and late 90s Chicago Mob music...some of that legendary traxster mixed in w/ faze miyake's creative drum patterning and basslines...shyt would be raw

It's not really worth discussing grime with 90% of them. It's too different. Some will get it, most won't. Honestly, you gotta be a real musical fiend to get it. For me, it's like getting into Houston hip hop. It's a whole culture to it and it bleeds through the music in every way. 99% of grime was never going to make any real money and everyone knew it but did it anyway. For lvoe, for respect, for their hood, whatever.

TooBlunt is an american who built his youtube channel solely off taking requests to listen to uk grime and rap and then post his reactions and reviews and he's blowing up off of it...real humble chill dude as well and he's made videos for the americans on things like how to get past the accents etc...his videos of him showing music in his barbershop>>>>>>

It's "organized" as you put it because it's made to cater to U.S. listeners ears..... nikkas in the UK listened to Jungle which is very disorganized at times (to someone who dont fukk with the music).... To you with an American ear Grime sounds disorganized, but not to a nikka from the UK.

All uk black music evolved from afram music.
American R&B had that sound BEFORE garage was invented.

Jungle is an offshoot of DUB...DUB is an offshoot of reggae. Jungle music has dancehall influence.
Dub and all afrobrit/carib music is a DIRECT offshoot of American R&B, modified and accented. It evolved into something that sounds similar to what we do now, but with less "blackness" due to the white environment and tastes of the UK.
