And they came about at the same time. It was two different demographics.

I can agree they are both offshoots from Garage. However, by 2003 the grime sound is fully formed but the dubstep sound wasn't. I don't think Grime went national until about 2005. Pretty much every landmark grime joint had hit by 2005.
