Yeah when I was younger I used to think he was one of the best lol us white people love/loved big L
but as I got older and got more into more well rounded mcs and learned more about the technicalities he got the boot off that list

Difficult this - good list but....
In terms of pure talent as an MC - both Andre and Big Boi should be in, maybe even O.C.
In terms of best ever verses Cee Lo deserves a mention. He ripped still standing snd soul food to shreds.
In terms of catalogue... I'd have Short and Quik (who can rap btw... live, whatever)
Finally where the heck is E-40?

another thing about big l. dude was NEVER considered one of the best rappers back when he was alive. he was just another good rapper from NY in the late 90's. and there were plenty of good NY rappers back then.
