No team has the right pieces, intrinsically, for today's league, but they adapt to the state of today's game with the personnel they do have. As I need to keep reiterating, it's why someone like Blake Griffin abandoned the midrange and extended his range behind the arc - he's not a right piece for today's league, but he changed his game to be one. You see it all throughout the league, shyt, even Wiggins has increased his 3-pt activity nearly every single season.Pops biggest mistake was not trading for BI and dem, he just doesn't have the right pieces for today's league
For whatever reason, Pop and the Spurs coaching staff have simply not done this.
