God forbid you lose your job unexpectedly that's life but going raw in a thot and having a seed with her that's preventable in this day and age. When you don't have a spiritual base in yourself and don't see yourself on higher frequency. I know we got some athiest nikka in here but if you have a high sense of spirituality and believe in a higher power then you tend to off yourself alot less.

I hated my life so much when I was a kid that I actually tried to commit that by smelling moth balls. My dumb ass didn't know that I couldn't die from that. I went through depression near the end of my marriage and my ex-wife tried to capitalize on that. I remember she tried to convince me to kill myself. It took me a few years to get out that depression but what she said always stuck with me. That shyt gives me fuel to push harder and do better in life. The way I see it, everyday I wake up makes my ex upset so I hope I live to be 150. I think it's all about perspective. When you look at what you have lose and the people you will hurt by committing suicide, you'll see that it's never worth it. The problem is that when you get so focused and obsessed with something, it's hard to step back and look at the entire picture. I was legit thinking about clapping somebody a few weeks ago and my homie had to talk me out of it. Once I thought about going to prison, not seeing my kids etc....I realized that it wasn't worth it. Back to the suicide though, I'm at a place in my life where I'll never consider it again. I have too much stuff going on that I have to see to the end.

I know shyt can be hard. Especially being a Black Man (ADOS) in American or anywhere on the planet. I’m what most would consider “successful”, and shyt can still be tough. There have been times when harming myself has crossed my mind, but I shake that shyt off. I got too much to live for. I’m not afraid to die, but I’m not in a rush to leave, neither.

Just take it day by day. That’s what I try to do. Life has ups and downs. Read the Bible, learn who you really are, and endure. We’ll be good.

There's nothing wrong with suicide. It's not a selfish or cowardly act. It's tragic, and very, very sad that families have to go through that, but life isn't for everyone and not everyone is built the same.

I would never do it, but life is hard and can get to a point where you dont see a way out and just removing yourself from life seems like it will give you relief.

More and more black people are committing suicide because the internet has shown us how bleak our situation is. Even back in jim crow we could say "we just have to make it north and get a good job and live a good life" they didnt have the info to know the north was just as racist and blacks lived in decrepit slums but false hope is powerful. Today we know we have nowhere to run or hide.

Black LGBTQ are treated better than Straight blacks especially black men by the dominant society.

Most people don't commit suicide cause something bad happened one day... Most of it is from mental illness that never gets properly treated. So while white people send their kids to the doctor and get them on every pill possible. We tend to say "Man up nikka" and ignore ANY talk of mental illness until it gets so bad they gotta be locked away.......................... or kill themselves

Suicide is weak but at 31, im finally to the point where I want to live obviously but some days I feel weary and mentally exhausted. I’m 31 and look young for my age but mentally I feel about 50. I think most black men in America feel that way. That’s probably why we die earlier than other races of men. From all the stress. I know if I ever make it to 75, 80, 85...imma be so over all the bullshyt
