that much is true, very true infact. however if its just you solo in your house then you really don't get the benefit of it. only thing I have noticed is that I can now stream 4k video from youtube.

thought it was always known that the more people you have at your crib, the more speed you need. In your case, you def right.

Anything above 100mb seems to be pointless, for the most part sites like zippyshare etc have a cap limit on how fast you can download, most torrents are pretty slow avg at 6.0MBS and the only real benefit is downloading games from psn and xboxlive.

You must solely be using public trackers to see those speeds, that or your bittorrent clients incoming port isn't forwarded.

It's all a scam that's why :francis:
Help if you have multiple users with devices in your home. Wife and 3 kids. All with tablets plus my desktop. Noticeable change after I upgraded
No, that's bullshyt too. That only applies if you are using all your data. When have you EVER tried to download to your max? What uses that much data, I'll wait

I got the slowest internet ($40total, Comcast) cut the cords so to speak so everything is run off the internet here. The cable companies will throttle you if they feel you're taking advantage of the game

SIMPLE AS THAT

In Va I tried, they said :stop:you gotta bundle or we throttle. I live in D.C. now, the hood. They don't throttle out here, I guess they just happy they getting paid on time :smugbiden:

:gucci: I try to max out my bandwidth on a daily basis, I even use a neighbors wifi as well. I consume at least 250GB a month from home and thats small for a lot of people people I know. just because you can't conceive how high-speed bandwidth can be utilized doesn't mean others haven't. Deals of TB's of Hard Drives constantly be out of stock online because people are always downloading or storing new data.

go to archive.org and go nuts..

200mb is not pointless at all

dont know about you but im usually getting between 16-20mbs per second downloading on my connection(i use uploaded)

plus i have a home server and i let multiple people stream movies/tv shows off my server remotely using plex

even when i had a 150mb connection it wasnt enough cause shyt would get slow and buffer alot if i was downloading something and too many people were streaming at the same time

now that i upgraded to the 205mb package everything runs smooth no matter what

I wonder how long it will take @Ciggavelli to download his entire steam library with this connection.
I used to have all my steam games downloaded, but then I hit 1400+ games and that shyt isn't even possible. I'd need like 10tb. I buy a lot of games :manny: (most of which I don't play....)

I did that at one point, but it really is pointless after a while.

I've turned into a casual anyway :manny:

250gb a month equals how much data per day?

How much per hour?

Or my original question, if your limit is 200mb per sec, how often are you using 200mb a sec?(you're not) online gaming for instance uses 1.5 to 5mbps. Netflix uses something small as well, can't remember off top. Surfing uses kb at a time.

So again, when have you ever maxed out your shyt to where you would notice a decrease? If/when you notice a decrease, you might think it's because of the bullshyt you said. But it's not reality. You'll learn that once you accurately answer my question :handshake:
